So, here it goes the recent announcement by Sega:
the Shogun 2 Total War will be coming in 2011 year on pc.

A must buy for me as this is how the TW series started and Shogun was my favourite so far of all TW games. I prefer the focusing on smaller scale theatres as the Sengoku period in Medieval Japan.

I updated the first post by link to screenshot which just appeared.
No surprise, in graphics dept they rule, quality and artwork is admirable. Unit GUI for battle are just masterpiece.

However, it is not graphics that will make me /or not to buy this game, but gameplay and AI.
If they apply at least half of ideas available in Takeda 3 would be really great.

UI is more minimalistic again, which is good. Atmosphere looks very nice too. Fog & rain also gave the original STW its special feeling (and battlefield surprises).
